We are filled with gratitude and pride as we celebrate the latest milestone in the real estate journey of our wonderful clients and friends, Alvaro & Iris — the purchase of their first investment property, a beautifully renovated condominium in Montgomery Village, MD, officially closed on August 5, 2025.
But this isn’t just a story about a single transaction — it’s a story about trust, discipline, and long-term partnership.
🔁 A Relationship Built Over Time
We first helped Alvaro & Iris purchase their very first home about eight years ago. A few years later, we were honored to help them sell that property and move up into a larger single-family home — a big step forward for their growing family and future.
Now, they’ve taken an exciting new leap: becoming real estate investors.
Throughout the years, not only have they trusted us with multiple transactions, but they’ve also referred several friends and family members to us — for which we’re deeply thankful.
💡 Lessons From the Journey
In 2023, we tried to help them purchase an investment property in the same condominium community. However, that plan fell through when we discovered that the subdivision wasn’t approved for financing.
But Alvaro & Iris didn’t give up — they stayed focused and continued working toward their goal. This year, with funds in place and a clear plan, they returned ready to move forward with an all-cash offer.
When the right unit came on the market, we immediately reached out to the listing agent, Debbie Hsu with RE/MAX Town Center, to ask key questions and learn more about the seller’s needs. With that information, we worked closely with Alvaro & Iris to craft a strong, fair, and comfortable offer.
After some back-and-forth negotiations — and competing against other offers — their offer was accepted.
🏠 About the Property
The unit they secured is a beautifully renovated one-bedroom, one-bath condo, complete with newer kitchen cabinetry and appliances, luxury vinyl flooring, stylish lighting, a newer HVAC system, and the convenience of private access, an in-unit washer/dryer, and a peaceful balcony. The community offers amenities such as a pool, tennis courts, and close proximity to libraries, shopping, restaurants, and major commuter routes — making it a fantastic investment.
