🏡 Another Dream Realized! Congratulations to Guojun & Yiming on Their New Home! 🎉
Back in February 2024, we hosted a very busy open house for one of our listings, welcoming over 60 potential buyers. Among them was Guojun W., who visited the property and registered her information. Although that particular home wasn’t the right fit for her and her family, it was the beginning of a journey we feel honored to have been part of.
After keeping in touch over the following months, Guojun reached back out to us in late November. We set up a “Getting to Know You” appointment at our office in Gaithersburg, where she came in on her own since her husband, Yiming, was busy taking care of the family business. At this meeting, we discussed the buying process and the selling process to establish a plan of action.
During our meeting, we learned that Guojun and Yiming already owned a condominium in Germantown but were feeling a bit tight on space as their family grew. They weren’t sure whether they’d keep the condo as an investment or eventually sell it, but their priority was clear: find the right home to grow into.
We introduced them to Adriana Clapper, one of our trusted lending partners, to begin the pre-approval process. After reviewing their financial documents, Adriana provided them with a solid pre-approval—a key step that allowed us to move forward with clarity and confidence.
With a plan in motion, we got to work—showing them homes that matched their criteria and even preparing offers on several that caught their eye. In a competitive market, some of those homes were scooped up by other buyers willing to pay significantly above asking price. Still, Guojun and Yiming remained patient and focused.
And then—it happened.
Thanks to our professional relationship with the listing agent, Kim Obendorfer from RE/MAX Realty Group, and our experience navigating competitive offers, we were able to secure this home for them at market value.
Following the home inspection to ProTec Inspection Services, we worked together to negotiate a smart solution: the sellers would fix some items and provide a credit so Guojun and Yiming could take care of the rest after closing. With the title work handled smoothly by Cardinal Title Group and financing by Prime Lending, the final steps came together seamlessly.
On March 12, 2025, Guojun and Yiming officially became the proud owners of their dream home! 🥂
